Short Bio


I have been engaged in research related to bioinformatics and precision medicine at the Kobilka Institute of Innovative Drug Discovery (Nobel Prize Research Institute) in CUHK-Shenzhen. My primary focus was the application of artificial intelligence-based methodologies to analyze medical data. I dedicated my efforts to advancing the field of drug discovery, with a particular emphasis on peptide drugs, through the development of novel machine learning algorithms.

Furthermore, I have worked diligently to integrate medical and biological data to construct high-quality global biology databases, such as dbAMP and CircNet. Specifically, my research interests encompass Peptide Drug Discovery, Machine and Deep Learning, Biological Database Design, and Bioinformatics Tool Development.

As of now, I have authored over 10+ peer-reviewed papers published in prestigious journals, including Protein Science (IF=8.0), Nucleic Acids Research (IF=14.9), Briefings in Bioinformatics (IF=9.5), and Bioinformatics (IF=5.8), among others. The cumulative impact factor of these publications exceeds 120, and they have garnered over 300 citations on Google Scholar.
